Macrocosm (live)

9 Oct 2015, Thunder Alley, OKC

This trio from Arkansas was slow to get going, but when they caught fire, they drew me in. I was not so much impressed by the vocalist’s abilities – flat – but more the melodies beneath the noise of the guitarist & the staccato skills of the drummer.

Macrocosm. Guitarist spots an old Luis Suarez kit.

Their weakest song was the cover song, one just not meant for Cookie Monster vocals.

Macrocosm - mirror behind the stage makes for easy pic of the drummer.

And we are only midway through the evening of local metal.

I must say that I am feeling somewhat welcomed here by the NYDM club – Oklahoma chapter. Didn’t know therebwas such a thing or network.

About Kirsten Tautfest

Writer. I've done a lot of living in almost 40 years. My first two self-published books in print/Kindle are what I have termed serial soccer fiction. Red Tales is based around a professional soccer team, set in 1998 their inaugural year, and traces the lives of the players, staff, and fans and how they all intertwine and collide for better or for worse.
