Lemmy Kilmeister

image

I learned today that Lemmy Kilmeister passed away at the age of 70. He lived a long full rock-n-roll life. I know I’m not the only one who is amazed that he lived that long. I remember joking with my mom once in Wichita that Lemmy was about her age & single.  She laughed it off. She must not have liked his trademark moles on his left cheek.

I dug through my archives of real photos & scanned in the black & white shots I took from when I saw Motorhead perform at the Vic Theater in Chicago, IL on 21 May 1999. The scanned pics are cropped only except for the text overlay on some. If shared, please credit Kirsten Tautfest or link to this post.
Enjoy & crank it up!

Remember his bandmates in your thoughts as you go through your routine.

About Kirsten Tautfest

Writer. I've done a lot of living in almost 40 years. My first two self-published books in print/Kindle are what I have termed serial soccer fiction. Red Tales is based around a professional soccer team, set in 1998 their inaugural year, and traces the lives of the players, staff, and fans and how they all intertwine and collide for better or for worse.
